The Good Right & A Path Forward for 21st Century Conservatism

Blue Skies Ontario returns to RCMI and welcomes Tim Montgomerie to Toronto. A columnist for The Times of London, Co-Founder of the Centre for Social Justice, former Chief of Staff to Conservative Party Leader Iain Duncan Smith, and Founder of ConservativeHome & The Good Right, Tim will take to the Blue Skies podium to share the tenets of The Good Right with an Ontario audience.

What is The Good Right?

Conservatism isn't what the Left thinks. It isn't what many on the Right think it is. What is it? And what should it be?

What was Conservatism's greatest defeat? The 1945 British general election, when war hero Winston Churchill's Tories were buried in a landslide? No. The greatest defeat came in the battle for the moral high ground - a battle that Tories have rarely joined.

Tim Montgomerie will present the tenants of The Good Right and be joined by Adrienne Batra, Toronto Sun Editor for a fireside chat to explore the electoral success of the UK Conservative Party and lessons for Ontario's centre-right moving forward.

5:30-6:00 Welcome

6:00-7:00 Presentation and Q&A

7:00-7:30 Reception

Tickets $25 in advance; $40 at the door.
